Salomon and Carpet Company Bring Heat to XT-Whisper Void with Collaboration

Salomon and Carpet Company come together for a collaboration that fuses skate culture’s independent spirit with Salomon’s technical heritage. Rooted in DIY creativity and a shared drive to challenge convention, the partnership reflects the natural synergy between two brands connected through community, culture, and innovation.

Centered around the XT-Whisper Void, the collaboration reinterprets Salomon’s technical silhouette through Carpet Company’s playful and unconventional lens. Inspired by the brand’s iconic “Habibi Express” van, the design blends reflective finishes, bold detailing, and street-driven character — balancing functional performance with Carpet’s distinct DNA.

XT-Whisper Void Carpet Company, a mischievous homage to the iconic horned van

Born from Carpet Company’s raw DIY universe, the XT-Whisper Void channels the infamous red, iridescent, devil-horned minivan made famous by the Habibis. Fiery red tones and green gradient accents bring the mischievous microbus to life, translating its character, humor, and community spirit into a limited-edition Salomon Sportstyle collaboration.

With only 1,720 pairs made, each individually numbered pair pays homage to 1720 Llewelyn Avenue in Baltimore, Maryland — the place the van is parked every night and a symbol of Carpet Company’s world.
